The Flu was driving it and ran it right the heck over me! The day after I wrote my last post I was hit with a gnarly flu. It made me feel super yucky. At least that was a part of the reason I was feeling so poorly last week. Yikes. I’ve kicked it in time for some decent weather this week J I can’t believe what a strange year for Mother Nature it’s been. There’s still snow on the mountains with no sign of melting and the rest of the country is still dealing with harsh weather. Weird.

I didn’t get any projects done this week but, I’m ok with that. See - I’m getting a slight grip on the “feeling guilty about not completing projects” neurosis.
So the idea that you’re not supposed to watch anything that’s scary/disturbing before going to bed is totally right! I went to bed early last night in hopes to get an extra hour of sleep – yea right KellyAnn, and got caught up in a marathon of “Paranormal State ”. Needless to say, I had freaky dreams that involved facing the ghosts that were scaring me and a strange new friend I had made. (If that isn’t a metaphor and a half, I don’t know what is.) It was REALLY weird and well – kinda scary. Not nightmare scary, but anxiety inducing scary. I remember staring a creepy ghost eye to eye and then doing someone’s hair. Of course those two things would go together in my mind. I’m surprised shopping didn’t factor in somewhere. It probably did and I don’t remember. Ha!
I wish we could play back our dreams. I have some super vivid ones sometimes that I remember in the morning and they dissipate throughout the day. Almost all the time they involve the ocean, but last night’s didn’t - just ghosts and hair dos.
I should watch reruns of Rainbow Brite tonight before bed. (It’s one of my favorite cartoons of all time. It’s right up there with She-Ra.) Can you imagine what kinda of awesomeness that would produce?! It would be the best! The rainbow haired flying horse Starlite would be expected to make an appearance.
Have a great Tuesday!
