Uninspired!

top: Target; pants: Gap; oxfords: Chinese Laundry; belt + earrings (both altered): H&M; necklace: Kohl's
And it's not just the outfit. Shoot you guys! I totally thought my doldrums would get their fill from last week, but apparently not. They are here for this week too :(
I’m exhausted and uninspired. I can’t sleep and when I can’t sleep all hell breaks loose. Work is being kind of obnoxious too. I rarely go this long feeling this way. Even reading all of your blogs isn’t picking up my mood, which is normally a sure fix.
I kinda can’t find anything that is making me happy, even food isn’t holding its sparkle. Hurumpf.
Do you ever feel this way? What do you do to make yourself happy?
I know it will end soon, but I’m just not used to it. Maybe it’s Spring stress. I have a gazillion things staring at me that I must get done soon and I haven’t even tried to start them.
I have one project I’m determined to finish by Friday. It’s super easy. I need to sew a casing for elastic on a skirt. “doesn’t that just take - like a ½ hour from beginning to end?” you may be asking… “yessssss, you are correct”. I just find that when I make myself do something without the desire, it either gets screwed up or I don’t do it and get disappointed with myself. So I’m trying to amp myself up to take the cover off my sewing machine.
I threw in this goofy image since this post seems so sad.

Wish me luck! I sure hope your week has started better than mine!

Thanks for all of your comments – those always make me smile
Until tomorrow…

I don't have any suggestions for you b/c I'm right there with you! No energy, everything seems like a chore. Let's chalk it up to lingering winter and hope once we're out in the sun with some Vit D we come back to life!

I'm sorry you're feeling out of sorts :( I'm kind of feeling it too, especially with the temperamental weather (it frustrates me because sometimes I end up dressing "wrong").

I've been frustrated with my sewing lately, too, so I've taken a step back and have been jogging my creativity with other things, like reading, drawing, and planning. Anyway, I'm sure you'll find something to cheer you up. If anything, spoil yourself and relax! Take care and feel better soon :)

This is an interesting looking belt. It almost looks like a bicycle from far away.

I love those fasten in the front belts.

Hope you're starting to feel inspired again! I like how you combined the pale blues in the top with melon orange colors in the jewelry! That's inspiring to me!

Sorry to hear that your are unmotivated, but we all have those days for sure! and I think it is all the spring stress probably. and as soon as you start working and finishing up all the things that need to get done you'll be back to feeling good. No one like errands and we all feel crappy when they are just waiting to be done but once you start on them your mood starts going uphill too! I love your earings and belt btw! :D
